Naomi Teppich was born and raised in New York City and studied art in Brooklyn, both at Brooklyn College (BA) and Pratt Institute (MFA). She has also taken many courses at the School of Visual Arts and spent a year studying ceramics at Parson’s school of Design. Naomi has exhibited widely in the Sullivan/Wayne/Duchess counties in the last few years as well as in New York City and has a long list of many exhibitions over the last thirty years.. She had a one person show in 2006 at the Catskill Art Society, Hurleyville, NY and will have another one at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in June , 2008. She has also exhibited large public works this year at Unison Sculpture Park and the Kingston, NY Sculpture Biennial, at Dumbo BWAC sculpture show, Brooklyn, NY and in Summit, NJ at Summit High School grounds. Her art works are in many public and private collections in the USA and abroad. Teppich has also curated sculpture shows and taught art and ceramics for the New York City high school public education system.
