MORT MALKIN from H i G H W A T E R M A R K S A L O [O] N volume 2 number 4

Mort Malkin: In the visual arts, I work for composition, contrast, technical excellence, and overall beauty. Although many of my paintings are in color, using pastels or oils, I am partial to monochrome work, just as many serious photographers prefer black & white. In this salon collection various monochrome mediums and techniques are represented.

I grundled down the road
as is my will, the narrow
rissabee between the fields
and woods. “Hardly is he

worth a passing thought,"
say the flutterbys
and wingless feebles.
They get on, each with

each, all the rooted and
movablees, the earliest
kingdoms. Watch out, all you dear
innocents, others of

my kind will come with
fine words & smiles, and
machines. They’ll not be
as harmless as I.
