RDiane Schaefer: Ruby Rowdy & Boat

water came up to here ...

Diane Schaefer: Red & White Bird in Tree

In the aftermath of Federal Disaster #1649, a flood along the Delaware River, Lori and Tom Moseman decided not to replace their damaged couch. They bought folding chairs and started to host the High Watermark Salo[o]n to celebrate writers and artists whose creative bouyancy helped them rebuild. (Yes, the first floor had 4 feet of water. Yes, the kayak evacuation was at 4 a.m.)

Each salon pairs performance poets or storytellers with visual artists. The gallery exhibition and reading are documented in perfect bound chapbooks that feature full color plates. Our receptive audience lives in the Upper Delaware River Valley and brings a feast worth of food. Come join us. The events are free.
