Sheila Goloborotko began showing her artwork in 1980 at the Salo National de Artes Plasticas, Funart, in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, her work has become a part of permanent collections at The San Francisco Modern Art Museum, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, Mashida Museum in Tokyo, Museo del Grabado in Buenos Aires and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Her portfolio of prints Olhos Que Viram Peixes is part of the permanent collection of Rare Books and Manuscripts of the New York Public Library. She teaches at Pratt Institute and conducts workshops for Brooklyn Arts Council, R0tunda Gallery, SONYA and Journalism School at Columbia University. Goloborotko’s studios are located in Brooklyn and in Sherman, PA.
